What started with a desire to create pottery and buying a second hand kiln, to selling the kiln many years later without even firing it up, to eventually taking a pottery class has led to Teresamaree Clay.
With the start of Covid in 2020 the pottery classes began to close so I made a quick decision to buy a pottery wheel to keep on throwing. So began the fundamental element of making ceramics - hand or wheel throwing - practice, practice, practice.
There have been many hours of enjoyment, imagination and some frustration that have gone into every lump of clay.
My goal is to create functional forms that might make your morning coffee, bowl of pasta, or a jug of pretty blooms more pleasurable
Enjoy & thankyou!
